Steps To Submission

  • A brief, approximately 250 word, lay persons abstract is required for all applications Multiple emails are not allowed. Applications not submitted in one complete PDF file will be rejected.
  • Applications can no longer be emailed to the URC coordinator.

          Submission Portal opens: November 15, 2017
          Submission Portal closes: 5:00 pm on January 8, 2018

When submitting a proposal, you will need the following information and documents:

  • Project title
  • Name of PI/Submitter
  • Abstract in plain text, maximum 4000 characters (including spaces)
  • If applicable, IRB and/or IACUC numbers and expiration dates
  • A single PDF document that contains the following material:
    • Brief (approx. 250-word), lay persons abstract
    • Research Plan (eight pages maximum, not including appendices)
    • CV (two page maximum for each PI and co-PI)
    • Bibliography of works cited in proposal
    • Certification page completed and signed by department chair
    • Course Release Form signed by the dean (if applicable)
    • For resubmissions, include an explanation of changes since last submission (one-page maximum)
